Susan Pease Gadoua is the author of the San Francisco Chronicle best-seller, Contemplating Divorce, A Step-by-Step Guide to Deciding Whether to Stay or Go (August 2008), and Stronger Day by Day: Reflections for Healing and Rebuilding After Divorce (July 2010).

Susan is a licensed therapist based in the San Francisco Bay Area with an expertise in helping couples connect, reconnect or disconnect in a healthy way.

Susan has appeared on television, radio and in print, including The CBS Early Show and A View From the Bay, and publications such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post, Psychology Today, Divorce Magazine, Divorce360, The ModernWoman’s Divorce Guide and Responsible Divorce. Susan writes regular columns for Huffington PostPsychologyToday.com and Examiner.com.

In addition to her writing and local private practice, Susan provides client consultations via Skype or phone and teaches therapists about divorce. As a result of writing, The New I Do, Susan now works intensely with couples who want to transform their traditional marriage to one tapered to their specific needs, especially couples who want to transition to a Parenting Marriage. Susan also trains therapists in her Phoenix Method of Divorce Recovery TM and is available to speak at conferences and symposiums regarding The Evolution of Marriage, Parenting Marriages, as well as on the topics of Contemplating Divorce, Emotional Divorce and Divorce Recovery.

Vicki Larson is a longtime award-winning journalist, freelancer, blogger and columnist who has been married and divorced twice, once in her 20s and once as a mother in her 40s.

She is the lifestyles editor and writer at a San Francisco Bay Area newspaper and has been a featured blogger for the Huffington Post; columnist for Mommy Tracked: Managing the Chaos of Modern Motherhood, ModernMom.com and Divorce 360; contributor to the anthologies “Nothing But the Truth So Help Me God: 73 Women on Life’s Transitions” and “Knowing Pains: Women on Love, Sex and Work in Our 40s,” a fundraiser for breast cancer.
